Long handled ladle; handle is 11 1/4" long and tapers in width from 3/4" where it joins the bowl to 1" at the other end; the widest end has a round hole drilled in it; the bowl has a round bottom and is approx 1 1/2" deep; there are 2 pointed pouring spouts located directly opposite one another on the rim; metal is black Special Functions: Used to melt and pour wax to seal home canning jars.
