Description

Red railroad lantern with red-colored glass belonged to donor's father in the 1950s. Type on the top of the lantern: Dietz No. 40/Traffic Gard/Syracuse, NY/ USA. Type on the base of the lantern: Property...rest of type is difficult to decipher, looks like: net. sew. ozs. Removable screw cap lid on the base of the lantern has Dietz set in an oval on the top of it.
