Large, heavy duty wood lathe; each side of the wood frame is 12 ft long by 4 1/2" thick x 10 inches high; all wood parts unfinised ; 4 wood legs bolt on; cast iron metal parts for chuck, belt drive transfer and tool guide are adjustable to any length on the 12 foot frame.
Stenciled on wood frame on belt drive end is "J.H. Kerrick & Co/ Indianapolis, Ind."
Eddie Eaks was long time Morristown wood worker who specialized in children's furniture. Donor bought the lathe at Eak's estate sale sometime in later 1960's or early 1970's
