A typed letter of appreciation at the 50th anniversary of the Korean war from the President of the Republic of Korea to those who served in the Korean War. It is addresses "Dear Veteran" and dated June 25, 2000. It was donated as part of the Roy Ortiz estate. Ortiz served in both WW II and the Korean war. The letter is in the format of a card. The front of the letter has the words "Letter of Appreciation" and "The Republic of Korea" in gold type in both English and Korean. The inside, left page of the letter is written in Korean, and the right side of the card/letter is written in English. There is a border of the national flags that make up The United Nations along the top border. The back of the card/letter has the 50th Korean War anniversary emblem.Collection
