Rectangular box shaped device, has tapered sides; at the top box is 4 1/8" x 3 1/4" as opposed to bottom which is 3 1/8" x 2 3/16"; top and bottom are open; top edges bent over flat to outside, bottom edges bent in at 90 degrees; appears as if 3 of the vertical seams overlap and one corner seam reinforced with another piece of metal; each corner secured by at least 2 rivets
Used at King's Grocery and Confectionary for hand-packaging a pint of ice cream; according to donor, this object if inside a paper conatiner and ice cream packed inside the metal walls -- not clear how got metal object out of paper container after ice cream packed
