Wooden top and cap to cover sewing parts, to the right is a small wheel and it is driven by a small leather belt that goes under the machine and sround a large wheel. Big wheel is driven by a peddle. Marks: on top cover - "DOMESTIC", on inside is part of a warranty, under front bobbin plate - "837329" and again on top of needle lift, on each sided by legs is "DOMESTIC" on the back bobbin plate is a list of the weight of cotton to the size of needle to use. On the front bobbin plate is "DOMESTIC",SIM. CO., NEW YORK., PATENTED, MAY 18, 1863, NOV. 16, 1864, JAN. 31, 1871, APR. 25, 1871, AUG 21, 1873, APR. 14, 1874. Reissued NOV. 3, 1874, MAY 16, 1876.
