Looks like a pressure foot for sewing machine, but toes are not long enough, has a winged screw on the back and on each side of the foot is a slice in the metal. This slice is for attachements to slide on to. Marks: PAT. AP'D FOR Special Function: Used to hold hemmers in places for the domestic sewing machine. References: Isaac M. Sheaffer born at Rotheville, Penn. 11/1/1849 and died in London, Ind 2/16/1930. Rose A. (Gould) Sheaffer was born at Pleasentview, Ind. 11/4/1858 and died 1/22/1949 in London, Ind. Remarks: Found in sewing machine No. 84.53.7
