History: print originally in beat yp frame that had a tag tied to it reading :Photograph' 107 Mary Andrews Sanders & sistr Jane Andrews shown in the picture unveiling the bronze marker in Marion Twp. indicates the place of the first white settlement in Shelby County,James Wilson & family were the first settlers in 1819. Gift--Mrs. Lucille Andrews, mother of the children. June 18, 1937.
