Cardboard box; color cross between orange and tan, has maroon stripes and print; each corner metal reinforced, has folding flap for a lid on top; printing on box identifies as "Gas Mask Inserts"; contents of box consists of 2 round glass discs, each disc attached at 3 points to a wire frame that is triangular in shape, metal rims for discs secured by a bent metal screw w/fine threads. Box lid printed "Bausch & Lomb" Used by John R. McCrea 1919-1981 Replacement eye pieces for a gas mask.
