Context

Shelby County Reds games were played on the Shelby County Homes grounds, next to the old Shelby Township School grounds. Games were played on Sunday afternoons against opponents from surrounding counties, including some teams from the Indianapolis area. Team members included Ardies Kehrt (manager), Ralph Miller (pitcher), John Miller (catcher), Ray Shaner, Fred McClain, Victor Kehrt, Bob Kehrt, Scott Hendricks, and Don Pickett.
