Booklet front cover has unfurled American flag and printing: "Christmas 1916/On The Mexican Border/Camp Llano Grande, Texas" Booklet style menu for a military Christmas dinner served to men in the Mexican border campaign. The cover has a red, white, and blue American flag on a gold staff. Inside gives data about Company K of the First Indiana Infantry. There is a red silk cord along the fold of the booklet. Donor's uncle was a member of Co. K of the First Indiana Infantry, and was from Shelbyville. William P Weimar supplied material todonor. Donor's father Ernest H. Weimar was in the same unit. Physical Characteristics: 4 7/8" x 3 1/2"
