Booklet style menu for a military Christmas dinner served to men in the Mexican border campaign. The cover has a red, white, and blue American flag on a gold staff. Inside gives data about Company K of the First Indiana Infantry.
There is a red silk cord along the fold of the booklet. Donor's uncle was a member of Co. K of the First Indiana Infantry, and was from Shelbyville. William P Weimar supplied material todonor. Donor's father Ernest H. Weimar was in the same unit.
