Description

Discharge document of James B. Wilson from active military service. Date of discharge from service of the United States is July 19, 1865, at Galveston, Texas. Physical Description: 8.50" x 11.0", heavy paper, propably cream-color, but it now a tan/yellowed color. Tri-folded; side A is vertical format; side B is vertical format on the right side. Middle section of side B has a seal, stamped by the Clerk of Shelby County...a free permit to hunt, fish, and trap.
