Khaki cotton Army Air Force shirt with 7 buttons down the front. The chevrons on both upper sleeves denote sergeant rank. The patch above the chevrons signifies the Army Air Force branch. The lower right sleeve patch denotes an armament specialist. The patch above the right breast pocket is a “Ruptured Duck”, indicating a member of the military has been honorably discharged, allowing the service person to wear the uniform after discharge, and served as an identifier to the military police and transportation companies indicating the wearer was honorably discharged and not AWOL.
