On right stand up collar there is a pin inscribed U.S. and on left is a pin inscribed with propeller and wings, signifying air service. Left shoulder has patch signifying Army Air Service. Patch below this is an upside down V, showing soldier has been honorably discharged from the American Expeditionary Forces during or after WWI. On lower left sleeve is a chevron of corporal. On right shoulder the patch is the insignia for the Army Air Service. Below this is a chevron denoting rank of sergeant.Collection
