Description

Olive drab army dress uniform. A. Jacket of olive drab wool, 4 eagle insignia brass buttons on front for closure, 1 brass button on flaps of each breast and lower pocket (4 total), and a brass button on each of the 2 epaulets. Upper left sleeve has patch with white 4 leaf clovers on red background, indicating U. S. 4th Army in Korean War. On upper right and left sleeves are chevrons with 2 stripes, denoting noncommissioned officer rank. Lower left sleeve has patch with 4 gold bars indicating 2 years of service. The right upper sleeve patch is of a gold lion on a red background outlined in white and then outer rim of red. This is patch for the 106th Infantry Division, “Golden Lion” Division. B. Olive drab wool pants with 5 olive buttons on fly. Around the inner waistband are 7 olive buttons, 2 for waist adjustment and the rest are extra buttons. C. Khaki tie.
