Olive drab wool WWII uniform, known as Ike, or Eisenhower field jacket. On right lapel is a gold pin with U S inscribed. On left lapel is pin known as Prop and Wings, symbolizing aviation. The gold badge above left pocket denotes Army Air Force Aerial Gunner, which recognizes hazardous duty performed. The 5 ribbon bars are awards for various reasons. On left shoulder is a patch which is the Hap Arnold emblem for Army Air Force. Under this is the chevron for sergeant rank. On right shoulder is the patch of the Army Air Force. Also, under this is another chevron for sergeant rank. Low on the right sleeve is a patch with an aerial bomb on blue black ground. Service member is responsible for the maintenance and handling of aircraft weaponry, such as bombs and other explosive devices.Collection
