Cotton Air Force olive fatigue shirts worn in Vietnam Nam, belonging to Richard “Rick” Coffin. He had 2 6 month tours of duty as an air police in Vietnam Nam in 1968 and 1969. He was stationed in Tan Son Nhut, Phantom Rang, Pleiku and Phu Cat. A. Shirt has 3 buttons and missing 1 down the front.The label above the left breast pocket has U. S. Air Force and the above the right breast pocket is Coffin. B. Shirt has all buttons missing and splotches of faded color through out. The story of these splotches is that after discharge Rick worked at KCL cleaning equipment with caustic solution, which would splash on his clothes. He would wear his service fatigues for this job.Collection
