Description

Moccasins made of thin leather for uppers but has a thicker stiff leather for sole. They are sewn together with thread (possible a commercial product). Along seam of uppers with sole is bead work of yellow and blue beads in 8 rows; seam at back of heet is bead work in something of a cross pattern in dark blue, light blue , yellow and white beads. Uper part of moccasin decorated with dark blue, white, black, green, yellow and red beads. Made in Arizona: Note stuffedin one reads: "Will Dear I thought you might enjoy these for your dess. Do not be afraid of Indian moccasons they are perfectly SANITARY from a tribe in Arizona. a big kiss & and heart full of love. Little Sister" Also on note was a 1926 Christmas Seal.
