Black & white; subject is 2 story frame house, clapboard sided; visible gable end has only 2 sash windows; front of house has 5 sash windows on 2nd floor, first floor has 4 sash windows -- 2 on either side of a center door; small covered protico over front door w/stone steps set at right angle to door; 3 small saplings have board guards around them parts of houses visible in back & to left; street in foreground shows interurban rails. used by R.M. Jewell From donor's larger slide collection has file number "10860" printed on it; inscription on mount identifies as the Morrison House northeast corner of Mechanic & Harrison in Shelbyville, 1924, and source as Biography of a Town, Shelbyville, Indiana 1822-1962.
