Pieced quilt; a variety of patterned fabric used; sort of a feathered star pattern; 5 rows long and each row consists of 4 feathered stars; between the stars is a white fabric printed with small blue stars, this fabric also used for the border; predominate color is blue in various shades, but reds, greens, brown, and yellow also visible; backing is plain white fabric.

Context

According to the donor, the quilt was made by her mother, and knows the age exceeded 75 years at the time of donation because her mother only lived for several days after the donor was born; donor's mother's life span was 1871-1906.
