Description

One piece of sheet iron galvinized with a tin (or similar) coating; metal is bent into a half-circle; series of 7 pointed spikes along the front edge that are more or less 90 degrees to rest of object; bottom corners at the back both have a 'key hole'type slot cut in them. Special function: used to break a calf from weaning; calf wore this over his muzzle and every time tried to nurse the points would poke the cows udder and she would walk away and not let calf nurse.
