Colt weaning muzzle; muzzle made of wavy wire bent and woven in and out forming small squares on sides, diamond shapes on front; wires are looped and slodered to heavier gauge wire which goes all around muzzle and a main seam down the center; oval shaped wire loop is hooked to main muzzle with 1 1/2" oval clamp; ollp mives freely to allow placement hores's head; olive drab strap attached to heavy gauge loop on eack side; strap attached with 2 brass hooks; 2 metal buckles for adugutment; small white tag on string attached to one side.. This kept a colt from mursing and thus weaned them.Collection
