A wooden peg of roughly uniform size but one end is bent upwards wood varies in color; one side is light and one side is dark There was a note with item which read: "Wooden peg used in barn on the elnora Williams farm, Hendricks Twp. These pegs were used over 100 years ago for connecting beams together. This tool was used prior to the introduction of spike nails.
