B&W negative image; subject is seated female, she is older woman probably past middle age, hair put up on top of head, has horizontal wrinkles on forehead; blouse has leg of mutton sleeves, either embroidery or some kind of fancy stitching on front of blouse; has scarf or something similar at neck; holding hands in lap; photographed against a barn-like building. Series of glass plate negatives were found in an old house the donor's bought; plates were in 2 boxes from the M. A. Seed dry plat company; one box had a note attached reading Dr. Gus Billman Estate, died 1954. ****Print made from this neg. 08/2004, 4 x 5", stored in 5 x 7 Drawer.
