B&W negative image; subject is seated couple; man on left side of image, appears middle age, wearing hat way back on head to reveal long hair on top that is parted in middle, also has a handlebar mustache, wearing shirt and trousers with suspenders, pants have fine stripe pattern, has ring on 3rd finger of left hand and holding a small flower; female appears to be sitting on his left leg with her right arm around his neck and left hand holding his chin, her hair done up on top of her head and face in profile, appear to be decorative pleats on sleeve of blouse near cuff; outside shot, full foliage, barn like structure in back.
Series of glass plate negatives were found in an old house the donor's bought; plates were in 2 boxes from the M. A. Seed dry plat company; one box had a note attached reading Dr. Gus Billman Estate, died 1954.
