Description

4" x 2-1/2" tin box painted orange. Detailed directions pasted on inside lid. 1/2" webbing & 37" tourniquet with heavy snap buckle. Directions for use of tourniquet sewn on inside of webbing close to buckle. 2 small vials "Vaporale" iodine, 1 small tube syringe lubricant' Tabloid First-Aid Snake-Bite Suction Syringe contained in cardboard cylinder, 3-1/3 stainless steel case "First - Aid Snake-Bite Outfit" embossed on outside; head unscrews, 1" bottom of tube unscrews to reveal 5/8" sharp pointed blade. Top of box marked "TradeMark 'Tabloid Brand First-Aid Snake-Bite Kit (Suction Type) Burroughts Wellcome & Co. (USA) Inc., New York Made in USA" Center of lid has broad "T" with horse pictured in stem. End of box has printing in ink "Snake Bite Kit" F.I.C.- Found in collection
