Piece of hollow iron tube one end has been flattened and hammered together to form a paddle shape 6" long and 2-1/4" wide: opposite end has hole drilled through and an iron ring inserted through hole.
Ira Isley was a blacksmith in Mt. Auburn, IN and according to donor made this to stir lard during hog butchering. See also Neg. N-689Collection
