Pen & Pencil Set in blue plastic: penicl is mechanical which retracts lead when not in use, has a gold colored tip where lead comes out, above this barrel or shaft flairs slightly and there are a series of rings providing a gripping area writing, just above mid way point is gold band and a gold pocket clip at tp, top part of pencil lifts off to reveal eraser and surplus lead storage area. Pen is blue plastic also with a gold band and gold pocket clip; the pocke clip part of the barrel unscrews to reveal writing point other end unscrews and acts like apump for point to takeup ink.
Pen and pencil set which Louis H. Grover carried in his Sundas suit.
Both are marked Shaeffer's on the pocket clip, both are marked on barrel "W.A. SHAEFFER PEN CO./ FORT MADISON, IOWA U.S.A./MADE IN U.S.A.Collection
