PiscesDescription
"Pisces" is an original screenprint on blue paper by Austrian artist Roland Hobart. The square print depicts two fish circling one another before a navy background. The fish are created from abstract, color-blocked shapes in vibrant shades of blue, green, and gray. The fish are also depicted with scales, gills, and fins. Negative space is used to add detail in areas such as the mouths. Surrounding the fish are various decorative marks, with a color gradient ranging from light grey / silver to dark blue / black. A thin, dark square borders the navy background. Inside of the blue background on the top right-hand side is a maker's mark.Type of Print
