One of the Democratic giveaways used during the 1984 campaign; acquired for the collection by going to party headquarters and asking for the freebies; no donor forms . piece of white plastic the size and shape of a car license plate; has rounded corners and 4 slots for attaching to an automobile bumper; background has a horizontal red line which is attached to a half circle red line and inside this area is bright yeloow so it looks like a rising sun; in front of the yellow area is a rooster with a blue body, red comb and yellow bill printed in blue on a angle across left side is "SHELBY COUNTY" and printed in b,ue on right side is "INDIANA DEMOCRAT"; Indiana required only one license plate on a car this type of object was used on the front bumper in the spot designed for a license plate; the crowing rooster has been a long time democratic symbol in Indiana
