Description

Projectile Points - Lost Lake; this is a large point with deep corner notches which curve up and into the blade. This example is slightly beveled due to resharpening. The base on this example is larger and thicker than most. Lost Lake points are diagnostic of the Thebes/ Lost Lake Phase of the Early Archaic Period. Point Found in Collection on a board with a note saying that it was found in Shelby County and donated by M/M Harry C. Morrison. References: Projectile Points and Their Chronology" Noel D.
