Description

Projectile Points. Saratoga Parallel Stemmed. Characterized by a straight stem and triangular blade. "A" represents an example that is nearly pristine while "B" has been heavily resharpened. There are two base types associated with these points. "A" has the first type unintentionally snapped appearance. "B" has the second type a steeply unifacial flaked beveled base. Saratoga Parallel Stemmed points are diagnostic of the Late Archaic and Early Woodland Periods. "Stone Age Spear and Arrow Points", Noel D. Justice, p. 157.
