Description

Thebes point. The blade is trianguloid in shape and shows evidence of beveled resharpening. This is a typical example of the type. It displays beveled resharpening, basal grinding, an incurvate base, and deep upward curving notches all characteristic of the type. Color is beige. Thebes points are diagnostic of the Thebes/Lost Lake Phase of the Early Archaic Period. Reference: "Stone Age Spear and Arrow Points", Noel D. Justice, p. 56-58.
