Projectile Point. Thebes. These points have pronounced side notches and triangular blades and are commonly beveled as are the other Thebes points in this collection. This point, however, has not been greatly resharpened and this lacks the characteristic beveled blade. Color is light pink. Thebes points are large to medium sided dart points or knives. They are diagnostic of the "Thebes"/Lost Lake phase of the Early Archaic Period. Reference: "Stone Age Spear and Arrow Points", Noel D.
