Iron kettle or "fire-starter" pot; 3 legs and shaped handle that is shaped like an inverted "v". Lid has a domed handle on its top. Body of pot has an upper and lower portion that is joined by a bead or seam. Kettle belonged to donor's mother, Mary Cole (deceased July 2009). Kettle was used at the Soldier's and Sailor's home on State Road South 9. VanArsdall said his mother used the kettle for 40-50 years.Collection
