A very heavy cast iron object; base is one piece casting has straight lines front and back but the side curve out; an arch shape casting is bolted to the top of the base, arch piece widens at its own base and has round cylinder shape at center; through this cylinder passes a threaded rod, secured to bottom of rod by means of a flange and 4 screws is flat one piece casting approx. 17 3/4" x 11 1/4" other end of rod has a cross arm handle w/bulbous ends; painted black high-lighted w/yellow around edges and some orange lines between yellow, all paint is worn.
Used in a press and bindery operation.Collection
