an applique quilt in white, red, green, and pink; center of quilt has checkerboard pattern of 5 white squares and 4 red squares; from this point 2 red lines extendin the cardinal directions; in areas defined by right angles or double re lines have a green diamond in center surrounded by a pink circle enclosed by a red sunburst; from each point of diamond have a green stem with 2 leaves; at end of stem is large green diamon surrounded by pink circle enclosed by a red scalloped circle; at roughly right angles to stem from diamond points are 4 more stems which terminate in red and green bud and this makes an effect of a circle of flowers; the crosses and circling flowers are bordered by two sides by 2 appliques of a green triangle above which is pink semi-circle surmounted by a red half sunburst from which are 3 stems with middle one being full bloom flower and other 2 yet buds; other two sides of quilt have identical pattern except are 3 to a side with an upside down flower between them; corners have taft workCollection
