Wood cabinet, walnut color, top forms a lid, has a piano hinge, back of cabinet square but front is tapered, wider at bottom than top; whole front of radio is a black plastic-like panel, has 3 large knobs at top numbered 1,2,3, & each one is graduated from 1 to 100, 3 smaller knobs at bottom - one marked "quality", another "volume", other knob has settings for "Loud", Med" and "Off" additional printing on front identifies as a FADA Radio serial #123912.

Maker's plate located on tube plate inside cabinet identifies as a "Type No. 192A/F.A.D. Andrea, Inc. 1581 Jerome Ave., N.Y. C."
Radio purchased new in 1925 in Washington State, came to Shelby Co. when family moved here; originally took three C-Dry Batteries and one 6 volt wet battery from a car to play it.
