Back inscribed in pencil, "Home of Raymond Hatton/Noble Twp/Waldron?Ind/U.S.to/Alexander?Van Pelt-Oct 1, 1820/Jan 22, 1821/Arthur Major. Dec. 1831"
Note with print stated that originally though this was the Arthur Major Mansion but turns out can't be; this house is in section 6, Major built somewhere in Section 8.
