3 pieces to this item; 1st is metal box covered w/brown leather-like material, hinged in back, lid lined w/ white patterned paper, bottom of box is compartmentalized and covered w/ brown velour; one compartment holds a single blade safety razor, collar on bottom of handle opens & closes a clamp like top which secures blade in place made of brass/vertical fluting on handle & collar: 3rd piece fits in 2nd compartment, it is brass box 1" x 1/2" x 1-9/16" open on one end used to hold extra razor blades.
Lining of box has red lettering "Gem/Micromatic" under razor head are patent numbers. Carried & used by James B. Pool during his military days in WW II he left it to his granddaughter who donated it.Use
