A Jacquard coverlet woven in red, blue and white; it is in 2 pieces with each piece being 35" x 76" with a 2" fringe on the 35" side and shorter fringe on the 76" side; small rolled hem along the 35" edge: main pattern is geometric and floral combination consisting of alternating areas of flowers within stars and floral wreath surrounding a block with a flower motiff in center; has 2 borders on the sides, one border is wider and has a floral motiff, 2nd border is narrow consisting of double row of 8 pointed circles that may be stars or snowflakes, this is common on a Klein coverlet; bottom inside border uses grapes another Klein trademark; along the bottom edge "SHELBY COU" is woven in with each letter in a circle and separated by paranthesis like marks. Signature block corners have the stylized flowers used only on Klein Coverlets.Textile Type
