Black and white photographic print of man in bib overalls, wearing straw hat with dark hatband, wire-rim glasses, standing in corn field. In left hand he is holding an empty bag of Ruhm's Phosphate Rock and right hand is pointing up to the top of a corn stalk. According to donor this picture was taken in 1948 with a ca. 1912 Brownie box camera by Mrs. J. T. Murphy. Donor also said that the man in print is J. T. Murphy promoting Rhum's Phosphate, and that the picture was taken July 18, 1948 on the 57th day after planting. Donation, 11/13/1983.Collection
