August 31st 1874/Mr. N. D. Robins/If you will send/one of your circulars to Mr. F. A./Farrington, Confectioner/Hillsboro, Hill Co. Texas/he will no doubt purchase one of your/soda fountains./ Respectfully/Jas. Ender." On the left end of the card is a note, some of which is not clear, reads in part: "sent 9/3/74"
