Black and white photographic print of a man in bib overalls and wire-rim glasses standing in a cornfield; in left hand is holding an empty Ruhm's Phosphate Rock sack and in right hand he is holding his straw hat above his head to show the height of the corn. According to donor, this picture was taken in 1948 with a ca. 1912 Brownie box camera by Mrs. J. T. Murphy. Donor also said that the man in the print is J. T. Murphy, promoting phosphate, and that the picture was taken July 25, 1948 on the 64th day after planting. Donation, 11/13/1983.Collection
