Wood ruler marked into 15 inches with 16ths between inch marks; front side has 2 logo marks for the Chicago and Northwestern Railway System and advertisement encouraging to ship and travel on that line; backside has Chicago and Northwestern Logo in center between a passenger train on left and freight train on right; both trains headed by diesel engines, lettering underneath reads "Ship and Travel via Chicago and North Western Railway System"
