A: Saucepan B: Lid. saucepan has round stamped bottom; side is single piece wrapped inside of flange of bottom piece and soldered where the ends meet; handle is attached at that point and at same height as handle is round lip about circumference; lid has finial and side edge is slightly crimpped to grip sauce pan better; tinning on inside of pan and lid is still quite visible and bright (more so for sauce pan than lid);
