2 Aluminum devices; flat bottom; one side has convex surface other side is flat creating a semi-circle shape; riveted to convex side are 2 brackets which support wire bails that fit over and secure the lid; the lid has the same shape as pot & designed to fit inside pot not just sit on top, has recessed surface w/raised bracket handle. Bottom stamped "Chambers Mfg Co./Shelbyville, IN." also a circle divided by a cross w/5 point star in 4 pie shape sections at arms of cross; cross made of "Aluminum" on horizontal and "Tacuco" on vertical also words "Wear-Ever" and "Trade Mark Made in USA" These pots for food cooking were designed to use with the Chambers Firelss Cooker.
