Grocery or home type scale with tin tray in the top with small brass gauge for weighing with numerals 0-8; small weight hanging on it. Base 9" long; tin tray 12" long 8" wide two weights one 2" diameter with number 8 on it; other 2-1/2" with 1 lb on it; seperate from scales. Patent date DESIGEN July 30, 1867 - number 3 RUTLAND, VT. HOWE SCALE WEIGHTS 8 and 1 lb.
