Hand size scoop for dipping grain from bins; handle is piece of turned wood that tapers in towards the mnain body of took, there are 3 decorative scoring lines on the handle; handle is inserted into semi-circular wood back, the handle enters just a little bit above center; the sheet iron is wrapped around the sides and bottom of the wood back and secured by a screw at each corner and one at the bottom, also six small nails are used; top of sheet iron is curved over for rigidity; fron edge is a sloping curve.
Special Function: This type of item was used in stores to scoop grain or seeds out of bulk bins and also for same purpose on farms, also on farms was used to scatter chicken feed.Collection
