Watercolor in browns, reds and greens; topic is shanty type structure, appears board and batten with steep pitched tin roof; has a porch supported by 2 posts and there is an addition on the back that looks clapboard; background has tropical looking trees; two figures in picture, one is female wearing green skirt and red top and balancing basket on head; other figure is child sitting on porch step appears to have red skirt and white top; near child are 2 white spots that are probably supposed to be chickens scratching in the dirt.
